Security and History Dialogue 2026

About the event
The Security and History Dialogue Conference is an intellectual and historical forum organised by the Ministry of Interior. Its 2026 edition runs at Qasr Al Thaqafa in the Diplomatic Quarter, Riyadh, from 6 to 8 September 2026 under the title "Our History and Our Future: Security and Growth", under the patronage of HRH Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Interior.
It offers a national platform joining security and development, where participants trace the course of security through the history of the Saudi state and its part in strengthening national identity and sustaining development.
More than 160 speakers take part — princes, ministers, commanders and officials alongside experts, researchers and academics — with over 30 participating bodies across three days.
The programme comprises panel sessions, private dialogues and interactive meetings, together with an exhibition and cultural experiences documenting the history of security and its contribution to stability and to the work of building and development.
Its aims include showing the value of security and its central effect on building and development since the founding of the first Saudi state, developing national awareness, rooting the values of moderation, precision and tolerance, and producing security content that joins scholarly method to a forward view.
