Abdulaziz bin Ahmed Al-Suwaid is a Saudi writer and journalist who has worked across a number of Saudi newspapers and periodicals and writes a daily column in the London-based Al-Hayat. He began in journalism as a contributor to Al-Yamamah magazine, becoming its economics editor and then editorial secretary, before heading Al-Eqtisadiah's Riyadh bureau at its launch and later serving as its deputy editor-in-chief — a career combining economic journalism with satirical writing. He is the author of the satirical essay collection Ahyanan and the short-story collection La Tarmi Qishr al-Mawz.
