Zuhair bin Abdullah Al-Shehri

Prof. Zuhair bin Abdullah Al-Shehri is Director of the Centre for Founding and National History Research at Imam Muhammad ibn Saud Islamic University. The centre studies the history of the Saudi state since its founding in 1727 by Imam Muhammad bin Saud in Diriyah, editing the documents and sources relating to the First and Second Saudi States and recording the course of the founding. He oversees the centre's research programmes, scholarly publications and academic partnerships, and the connection between its findings and public discourse on Founding Day and national identity.
