Abdullah Bila

Poet and Writer

Abdullah Bila is a Saudi poet and writer from Makkah and a member of the Abqar poetry forum at the Jeddah Literary Club. He has published four collections: Ta'wilat Turabiyya (2012), Sabah Murammam bil-Nujum (2015), Safar ila al-Jasad al-Akhar (2019) and Arba' wa-'Ishrun Dhakira li-Qasida Wahida (2022). His poetry works on the relationship between the poem and time and memory — a density of temporal presence critics have singled out in his most recent collection. He appears regularly at literary readings and events across the Kingdom.
