The Saudi Ministry of Interior wrapped up the Security and History Dialogue 2026 conference at the Culture Palace in Riyadh's Diplomatic Quarter, an event held under the patronage of Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif and themed “Our History and Our Future.. Security and Growth,” which over three days drew more than 5,200 visitors alongside tens of thousands of online interactions and heavy live-stream viewership both domestically and abroad.
The program featured over 60 dialogue sessions, interactive meetings, and special conversations spread across more than 60 hours on the “Dialogue Platform” and the “Security and History Theater,” bringing together more than 160 speakers and participants from over 30 government, academic, and scientific entities, including officials, decision-makers, security leaders, historians, researchers, media figures, and intellectuals who explored the Saudi experience from multiple angles.
Sessions tackled topics ranging from the history of security in the Saudi state, institution-building, justice, stability, citizenship and national identity, to security and investment, awareness and moderation, international relations and security partnerships, the role of citizens, families, and women, media, culture, arts, and heritage, as well as artificial intelligence and the security of the future, while also highlighting milestones in the Kingdom's history and the legacy of King Abdulaziz.
The conference was organized in partnership with King Abdulaziz Foundation as the main partner, the Royal Commission for Riyadh City as the strategic partner, and with Takween Academy and the Saudi Company for Technical and Comprehensive Security Control “Tahakum” as excellence partners, alongside various ministries and universities, and it builds on the 2025 Security and History Forum by expanding into a three-day program aimed at deepening awareness of the Kingdom's history and the role of security in development.
