Maj. Gen. Dr Saleh bin Saad Al-Marabba is Acting Director General of Passports and Acting Deputy Minister of Interior for Civil Affairs. The General Directorate of Passports regulates entry to and exit from the Kingdom, issues passports and residency documents and manages the status of expatriate residents, while Civil Affairs maintains citizens' records and issues identity and civil-status documents. He holds both portfolios, having risen through security and administrative posts, with a focus on digital transformation and process efficiency across the two sectors.
