Ministry of Hajj and Umrah

<p>The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah is the Saudi government body responsible for organising Hajj and Umrah affairs and serving the guests of God. It oversees the system of services provided to pilgrims and Umrah performers from before their arrival in Saudi Arabia until they return home. The Ministry works with government entities, the private sector and the non-profit sector to improve the pilgrim experience, license companies that provide services to pilgrims, and regulate the procedures and awareness guides that prepare pilgrims to perform the rituals with ease and peace of mind.</p><p>Among its initiatives is the Nusuk platform, which lets Umrah performers and visitors plan their journey and book appointments and services through a single app. The Minister chairs the Pilgrim Experience Program committee, one of the Saudi Vision 2030 programs. The Ministry also hosts the Hajj Conference and Exhibition in Jeddah as an international platform that brings together decision makers and stakeholders in Hajj and Umrah services to showcase solutions, exchange expertise and sign partnerships.</p>
