Dr Sarah Al-Hammoud is Professor of Computer Science at Imam Muhammad ibn Saud Islamic University in Riyadh. Her field covers data processing, artificial intelligence applications and machine learning, together with Arabic natural language processing and text analysis. Her duties include teaching, supervising research projects and contributing to the development of technical solutions serving different sectors. She has a particular interest in women's participation in technical disciplines and in connecting computational research output with the needs of the market and the public sector.
