Vijay Sikka

Co-Founder and CEO

Vijay Sikka is Co-Founder and CEO of Sikka AI (Sikka Software Corporation), a healthcare technology company he built from a startup into a platform used by more than 34,000 dental and medical practices serving some 119 million patients. He holds a master's degree in electrical engineering and artificial intelligence from Syracuse University and pursued doctoral research in AI and neuroscience at Stanford University, which he did not complete. His early work on self-supervised learning has been published at major AI conferences including IJCNN and IJCAI. Over more than twenty-five years in artificial intelligence and decision systems, he has led large-scale projects at Intel and worked with the National Institutes of Health, GlaxoSmithKline, Roche and UCSF-affiliated researchers, before turning his AI and machine-learning expertise toward automating scheduling, insurance, claims and collections for healthcare practices.
