Global Vice Chair – Alliances & Ecosystems

Julie Teigland serves as EY’s Global Vice Chair for Alliances and Ecosystems, leading the growth of strategic alliance businesses on a global scale. Previously, she held the position of Regional Managing Partner for Europe, the Middle East, India, and Africa (EMEIA) for six years, during which she drove regional revenue growth to $22 billion. Born in the U.S. state of Michigan, she has been based in Germany for approximately 30 years. She began her career in 1990 at Arthur Andersen, specializing in accounting and taxation. In 1998, she moved to lead finance and accounting at Tishman Speyer Properties, then joined EY in 2001, becoming a partner in 2002. She progressed through leadership roles, including managing the Germany, Switzerland, and Austria region, where she achieved growth exceeding market rates by an average of nine percent. She became the second woman to serve as a Regional Managing Partner at EY and the sixth woman on the Global Executive Committee. Fortune magazine named her to its list of the Most Powerful Women Internationally. She joined the advisory board of the UN’s EQUALS initiative to promote digital gender equality. She is recognized for her expertise in driving growth across diverse markets and building strategic alliances with major technology companies. She focuses on empowering women in business and leads EY’s global Women. Fast forward initiative to accelerate women’s advancement into leadership roles. She will participate in LEAP 2026 to share her insights on building strategic alliances and digital ecosystems—topics central to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s efforts to enhance global partnerships and empower women under Vision 2030.
