Ahmad AlZaini is the Co-Founder and CEO of Foodics, the leading restaurant operations management and fintech platform in the Middle East and North Africa region. He founded the company in 2014 in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia, which has since grown into one of the region's most prominent Software-as-a-Service companies, with over 600 employees and eight offices across six countries. He graduated from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals in 2012 with a degree in Electrical Engineering. He began his entrepreneurial journey early in 2010 by founding ALWANS, a company specializing in mobile application development and e-commerce. Foodics is his third venture, reflecting his deep expertise in building tech startups. He has led the company to process over six billion orders through its platform and expand its operations to include Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Egypt, Jordan, Kuwait, and the Netherlands. He received the Forbes Award for Entrepreneurs Shaping Saudi Arabia's Future, was selected by Endeavor Global as a high-impact entrepreneur, and won the Inc. Arabia Award for Best Business in the Fintech category in 2025. He is known for his focus on building integrated technology systems serving the food and beverage sector, combining technical innovation with a deep understanding of local market needs. He recently completed a leadership program at Harvard University and serves as an advisor and angel investor in several tech startups. His presence at LEAP 2026 represents a living model of Saudi entrepreneurs' success in building world-class technology companies from the Kingdom, in line with the goals of Vision 2030 to enhance the digital economy and entrepreneurship.
