Autism, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)

Dr. Rehab Hassan Alzayer is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Autism and Intellectual Disability at Arabian Gulf University and an internationally Board Certified Behavior Analyst at the doctoral level (BCBA-D). She holds a PhD in Special Education, with a specialization in Autism Spectrum Disorder and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), from the University of Northern Colorado, USA. She has extensive academic, professional, and leadership experience in autism and developmental disabilities, encompassing teaching, research, clinical practice, training and supervision, and the development of evidence-based services and programs. She previously served as Clinical Director of an Autism and Developmental Disorders Unit and also worked with the U.S. Department of Education within the Office of Special Education and Rehabilitative Services. Her research and professional interests focus on early intervention, evidence-based practices, applied behavior analysis, professional and ethical competencies, and improving the quality of services provided to individuals with autism spectrum disorder and developmental disabilities.
