Robin Tim Weis

Disability Inclusion and International Affairs

Robin Tim Weis is Executive Director of the Zero Project, where he co-leads the organization's global operations, research, partnerships, and programmatic delivery. Building on his tenure as Director of International Affairs, Robin drives high-level engagement with governments, multilateral institutions, civil society organizations, and the assistive technology sector. Moreover, he leads strategic partnerships to drive the regionalization of the Zero Project's activities. He holds primary responsibility for the design and execution of the Zero Project Conference at the United Nations Office at Vienna, the organization's flagship convening of over 1,000 participants from around 100 countries. He leads the conference's programming architecture, ensuring alignment with the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and translating innovation into policy and practice. With a background in science diplomacy and cybersecurity, Robin brings a systems-level perspective to inclusion. He holds an M.Sc. in Cybersecurity Law from the University of Maryland, an M.A. in American Studies from the University of Heidelberg, and a B.A. in International Affairs from the Free University of Brussels. He is also passionate about inclusive sports, particularly making football more accessible, and contributes actively to inclusion initiatives within a variety of sports.
