Rania AlGhamdi
Sr. Director of talent systems and planning
Rania AlGhamdi is senior director of human resources systems and planning at Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare, the joint venture formed in 2013 between Johns Hopkins Medicine and Saudi Aramco, which runs hospitals and clinics in Dhahran, Al-Hasa, Abqaiq, Ras Tanura and Udhailiyah for Aramco employees and their families. Her remit spans workforce planning, talent management and human resources technology. She previously directed talent learning and development there, covering performance management, career management, succession planning, employee engagement, leadership development and wellbeing programmes, and before that served as HR services director, running daily HR operations and building the organisation's talent acquisition strategy. She holds a master's degree from Texas A&M University and a doctorate from the University of Leicester, has led work on learning, on diversity and inclusion and on person-centred care, and spoke as a panellist at the Leadership Excellence for Women Awards and Symposium hosted virtually by Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare in November 2021.
