Vishva Mehta

Principal

Vishva Mehta is a principal at Blackstone, the alternative asset manager, working on healthcare and life sciences. He joined from KKR, where he was a principal in the Americas Private Equity business and worked on the firm's Health Care Strategic Growth funds, the dedicated vehicles KKR raised to back high-growth healthcare companies in North America and Europe. Before that he was a vice president at Sixth Street Partners, the credit and growth investment firm, structuring bespoke capital solutions for companies and their management teams, and earlier an associate at Harvest Partners, a New York middle-market private equity house. He has also served as a senior advisor to Catalio Capital Management, a healthcare and life sciences investment firm, contributing to its Structured Opportunities credit strategy and sitting on its investment committee; Catalio closed the second fund in that strategy at more than 325 million dollars in commitments. He took his undergraduate degree at the University of Maryland.
