Prof. Mohammed Mathri Ayed Al-Huwaity is a Professor of Special Education at Umm Al-Qura University. His academic, research, professional, leadership, and innovation experience encompasses university teaching, academic program and curriculum development, quality and accreditation, educational training, and consultancy. He has contributed to leading academic and professional committees and to the development of graduate programs and professional diploma programs. His research interests include special education, developmental disorders, behavioral interventions, and assistive technologies. Prof. Al-Huwaity is also engaged in innovation through a patent application currently under review by the United States Patent and Trademark Office, developed in partnership with Umm Al-Qura University.
