Eman Albilali

Eman Albilali is a Technical Expert in AI Research at HUMAIN, the Saudi artificial intelligence company established under the Public Investment Fund to build the Kingdom's national AI capabilities. She holds a PhD, master's and bachelor's degree, all in computer and information sciences from King Saud University, where she also serves as an assistant professor teaching artificial intelligence, machine learning, evolutionary computation and human-computer interaction. Her research spans automatic lip-reading systems and Arabic natural language processing, including work on Arabic machine reading comprehension datasets. At HUMAIN she has contributed to the development of ALLaM, the company's bilingual Arabic-English large language model, working on applied generative AI research and new human-machine interaction interfaces.
