Biomedical Physics

David Bradley PhD (USM), MSc (London), BSc (Essex), F.Inst P., FIPEM, Professor Emeritus University of Surrey, Honorary Professor University College London (2020-2025), Adjunct Honorary Distinguished Professor, Sunway University. Former Secretary of the International Radiation Physics Society and subsequently its President. In 2022 he became the first Editor in Chief of the Journal of Disability Research, primary publication of the King Salman Centre for Disability Research. For some years he was Editor-in-Chief of the British Journal of Radiology (the oldest journal of radiology in the world) and the journals Applied Radiation and Isotopes and Radiation Physics and Chemistry. His interests in fundamentals of radiation have turned to applications, notably in biomedical and disability areas, also in development of the companies TrueInvivo in the UK and Lumisyns in Malaysia. Supervision of some 33 PhD students has engendered collaborations, 18000 citations and an h-index of 64.
