Ahmed Al Rumayyan
Pediatric Neurologist
Prof. Ahmed Al Rumayyan is Dean of the College of Medicine – Riyadh at King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences (KSAU-HS), and Professor of Pediatric Neurology. He is also a Consultant Pediatric Neurologist and Epileptologist at King Abdullah Specialized Children's Hospital in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. He earned his MBBS from King Saud University and completed his pediatric residency at the Children's Hospital, University of Manitoba, Canada. He subsequently completed a fellowship in Pediatric Neurology at the Children's Hospital, University of British Columbia, Canada, followed by a fellowship in Electroencephalography and Epilepsy at Alberta Children's Hospital, University of Calgary. Prof. Al Rumayyan also holds a Master's degree in Medical Education from KSAU-HS and a PhD in Medical Education from Erasmus University Rotterdam, Netherlands. He has published several scientific articles in neurology, epilepsy, and medical education, and is a member of several professional societies and specialized committees.
