Executive Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer of Saudi Aramco. A Saudi national, he joined the company in the 1990s and advanced through finance, treasury and business planning, and served as head of treasury and in senior corporate finance roles before his current position. He oversees the accounts of one of the largest listed companies in the world by market capitalisation, the dividend policy comprising the base dividend and the performance-linked dividend, the company’s international sukuk and bond issuance, and the sale of stakes in pipeline assets to institutional investors. His portfolio also covers capital planning for the gas and chemicals programmes and the management of the cost of capital through volatile price cycles.
