Sych Nataliia heads the rehabilitation department of the First Territorial Medical Union of Lviv in western Ukraine, the largest municipal healthcare provider in the country, which brings together St Panteleimon's Hospital, St Luke's Hospital, St Anne's Hospital and St Nicholas Children's Hospital with a network of diagnostic and treatment centres, family medicine practices and a pharmacy, working under the programme of the National Health Service of Ukraine. The union hosts the UNBROKEN National Rehabilitation Centre, founded in Lviv after the full-scale invasion of February 2022, which has treated more than 27,000 wounded Ukrainians, adults and children. UNBROKEN combines reconstructive and maxillofacial surgery, neurotrauma care, the manufacture and fitting of prostheses, physical rehabilitation, psychological counselling, housing support and social reintegration across more than twenty projects, and opened UNBROKEN Kids, the first dedicated children's rehabilitation unit in Ukraine.
