Stephen Wood

Chief Operating Officer

Stephen Wood is chief operating officer of ONE MOTO, an electric vehicle maker headquartered in the United Arab Emirates that builds two- and four-wheeled vehicles for last-mile and business delivery fleets and operates in more than a dozen markets. He holds a bachelor of engineering in aeronautical engineering from Loughborough University, studied between 2001 and 2004, and an MBA from the University of Bradford School of Management between 2014 and 2017, and is a chartered manager of the Chartered Management Institute. Between 2007 and 2016 he held a series of roles at NSK Europe, among them Middle East regional sales manager and sales and engineering manager for the United Kingdom and Ireland, having earlier worked as an internal sales engineer and contract engineer at KSB. He has more than thirteen years building market-entry strategies and dealership networks in the region and is responsible for scaling ONE MOTO internationally, including a 2024 agreement to support the transformation of the last-mile delivery sector in the Sultanate of Oman.
