Noman Ali is founder and chief executive of Supply Chain Talks and is based in Jeddah. The platform works in supply chain training, consulting and content, running webinars and professional programmes across the Middle East and Pakistan, and has launched an artificial intelligence product, Circular Inventory Intelligence, for handling excess and obsolete stock. He holds a bachelor's degree in electronics engineering from the Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology in Pakistan, an MBA from the Institute of Business Administration in Karachi and a professional diploma in supply chain management from the Pakistan Institute of Management, and is a Certified Supply Chain Manager of the Global Association for Quality Management. His experience spans nineteen years in supply chain management, procurement, business process optimisation and digital transformation, across eight industries and three countries, in both country and regional leadership roles. He previously worked in supply chain at Siemens Saudi Arabia, where he led an initiative consolidating construction equipment suppliers from twenty-one down to a single frame agreement with Zahid Tractors. He is also affiliated with the University of Business and Technology in Jeddah.
