Saurabh Nirantar is general manager for sales and marketing at JBM Electric Vehicles Trading Middle East, the Dubai arm of India's JBM Auto. The company supplies fully electric buses across the United Arab Emirates and the wider Middle East, including the ECO-LIFE, GALAXY and E-SKOOLIFE ranges, together with charging infrastructure such as 360 kilowatt CCS2 depot systems and 600 kilowatt pantograph systems; Al Habtoor Motors is its exclusive importer and distributor in the Emirates. He has more than sixteen years in the automotive industry and leads the group's sales and marketing across the Middle East and Africa, having fronted its electric bus debut in the region. He previously worked at VE Commercial Vehicles, the joint venture between the Volvo Group and Eicher Motors, rising from product marketing and communications in its international business to regional manager for African countries. He holds an MBA in marketing from James Cook University's Singapore campus and a bachelor's degree in foreign trade from the University of Pune.
