Group Information Technology Head

Shijin Prasad is an enterprise technology executive based in Abu Dhabi with more than twenty years in the field, who heads group information technology at Elyzee Healthcare Group and also serves as its chief information security officer. Elyzee is a private operator running hospitals and clinics in the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia under the Saudi-based Safari Group; its Abu Dhabi hospital is presented as the first boutique hospital in the region dedicated to aesthetic and plastic surgery, and in 2025 the group began implementing a patient-level costing system in order to meet Abu Dhabi's clinical costing standards and guidelines. His remit covers hospital information systems, information security and the digital infrastructure behind clinical operations spread across several sites and two countries. The Global CIO Forum named him among the winners of the United Arab Emirates edition of its CIO 200 listing and included him in its Top 100 IT Leaders, and he took part in the grand finale of the World CIO 200 Summit held in Sri Lanka in September 2026.
