Rami Rajab leads Mecomed, the trade association representing medical devices, imaging and diagnostics companies across the Middle East and Africa, whose membership has grown from four founding companies to more than fifty. He entered the medical devices sector in Saudi Arabia and has since built close to four decades of industry experience spanning sales, marketing, market access, environmental and social governance, and trade association work, across the Middle East and Africa, Europe, Latin America and Asia. Earlier in his career he worked on the merger integration of Cyberonics and the Sorin Group that created LivaNova. At Mecomed he focuses on regulatory convergence, ethical business practice, and bringing industry, regulators, payers and patient groups into a single regional conversation.
