Petros Kotsidis

Chief Digital and Information Officer

Petros Kotsidis carries responsibility for the digital and artificial intelligence agenda at King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre in Riyadh, where he leads the healthcare information technology affairs department. He argues that accelerating healthcare innovation requires structured environments in which emerging technologies are validated against clinical, operational and regulatory standards and scaled inside real clinical settings rather than left at the pilot stage. Among the systems deployed under his remit is an artificial intelligence capacity command centre that combines live patient data with predictive analytics to coordinate beds and resources, and which the hospital reports has cut waiting times from thirty two hours to six. He led the hospital's Innovation Challenge, open to start-ups worldwide; seven finalists presented at the C3 Davos of Healthcare Silicon Valley Summit in 2026, where the hospital took part as a global strategic partner, and the winning solution entered a proof-of-concept programme inside the hospital. He studied at Cranfield School of Management in the United Kingdom.
