Mariana Svirchuk
Director of Development and Investment Engagement
Mariana Svirchuk leads development and investment engagement at the First Lviv Territorial Medical Union, the Ukrainian hospital group that runs St Panteleimon's and St Luke's emergency hospitals for adults and St Nicholas children's hospital, and that hosts the UNBROKEN National Rehabilitation Centre. She built the union's investment attraction and international partnership work, through which the group has collaborated with Charite - Universitatsmedizin Berlin on a rehabilitation programme for people wounded in the war, and with the biotechnology company MiNK Therapeutics on a randomised Phase 2 trial in acute lung injury and critical illness. She also heads project management at UNBROKEN, and spoke on Ukrainian hospital care and reconstruction at the European Hospital Convention in Brussels in 2023.
