Majd Abu Zant

Managing Director | Chief Executive Officer

Majd Abu Zant spent much of his career at UEMedical, where as chief executive he oversaw more than a hundred healthcare facilities in the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia and launched Danat Al Emarat Hospital, the HealthPlus network and Moorfields Abu Dhabi, before leading the group's sale to Mubadala in 2022. He then founded Global Fertility to build a network of assisted reproduction clinics across the Gulf under the Bnoon brand, and serves as its managing director and chief executive. Within eighteen months the company had brought two IVF acquisitions in Riyadh and Jeddah, among them HealthPlus Fertility, together under Bnoon as what it describes as the largest stand-alone fertility network in Saudi Arabia, performing around 5,000 IVF cycles a year. He is also co-founder and chairman of Ovasave, a regional femtech company working in fertility and reproductive health. He holds a master's degree in healthcare management from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and has appeared for three consecutive years on the Forbes Middle East list of top healthcare leaders among founders and shareholders.
