Lutz Lungwitz

Lutz Lungwitz has presided over the German Medical Wellness Association in Berlin since 2004, along with the International Medical Wellness Association, and has served as vice-president of the Global Healthcare Travel Council since 2017. Trained first as a travel agent and then in business administration in Berlin, he has worked as a chief executive, manager and consultant in the private sector and for federal bodies. Much of his career has gone into developing and running hotels and clinics and setting quality and operating standards for them, alongside trade fairs and networking platforms for the sector and projects on health regions and residences for older people. He speaks internationally on health tourism markets, including in Croatia, Greece and Egypt.
