Fahad Alajlan
President
President of the King Abdullah Petroleum Studies and Research Center, known as KAPSARC, a non-profit research centre based in Riyadh established to work on energy economics and related policy. It produces research on energy market modelling, consumption efficiency, carbon markets and the transition in exporting states, and occupies a campus designed by Zaha Hadid. A Saudi national specialising in energy economics and public policy, he held research and leadership positions inside the centre before its presidency and ran its economic modelling programmes. He represents the centre in research tracks linked to the Group of Twenty and in international dialogues on the circular carbon economy, the framework the Kingdom adopted and advanced during its G20 presidency.
