David Barzilai

David Barzilai is a longevity medicine physician who founded Barzilai Longevity Consulting, advising executives, clinicians, health systems and organisations on turning ageing research into practice, alongside a selective private retainer practice. He lectures at Harvard Medical School, serves as medical editor of its Pathways to Longevity report, and writes on healthy ageing for Harvard Health Publishing; he is also a founding faculty member and trustee of the Geneva College of Longevity Science. He studied cell and developmental biology and health and society at the University of Rochester, graduating summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, then earned a medical degree and a doctorate in health services research at Case Western Reserve University, an MBA at the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a master's in psychology, and is a diplomate of the American Board of Lifestyle Medicine. He works with the Lifespan Research Institute, the Alliance for Longevity Initiatives and the Lifeboat Foundation, co-edited Frontiers of Longevity Science for Springer Nature, and received the Next-Generation Medicine Prize in Dubai.
