Christian Bruch
President & CEO
Chief Executive Officer of Siemens Energy since 2020. A German national with a doctorate in mechanical engineering, before moving he worked at the Linde industrial gases group, where he sat on the executive board as deputy chief executive and ran its plant engineering business. He led the separation of Siemens Energy from the Siemens group and its independent listing on the Frankfurt exchange in 2020. The company manufactures gas and steam turbines and power transmission and grid equipment, and owns a wind power arm. Under his leadership it faced an acute crisis in its wind business that required German state guarantees, then returned to profitability on the back of global demand for grid equipment and gas turbines as data centre build-out accelerated.
