Regional Manager

Anas Al Arid is regional manager for exhibitions and fairs at Rhenus Logistics in the United Arab Emirates, the Emirati arm of the German family-owned Rhenus Group, which has been trading for more than a century. Rhenus provides air and sea freight, road transport, customs clearance and multimodal logistics from bases near Dubai International Airport and Al Maktoum International Airport, and its exhibitions and fairs unit handles event and trade show freight. In April 2026 he signed the memorandum of understanding between Rhenus Logistics and MIE Events at the latter's Dubai headquarters, under which Rhenus became global logistics partner for MIE Events worldwide and strategic logistics partner for CTW Global 2026; he said at the time that combining a global network with strong local expertise adds tangible value to the event ecosystem and supports exhibitors and customers in addressing their logistics challenges. In December 2025 he was named in a two-year exclusive partnership between Rhenus and INDEX Conferences and Exhibitions covering roughly 109,300 square metres across the Dubai World Trade Centre, the Dubai Exhibition Centre and ADNEC. He has also presented the company's sea-air model for electric vehicle cargo, moving freight by sea into Dubai and then onward by air to Europe and the United States.
