Founder and Director of Research of Energy Aspects, an independent research consultancy based in London specialising in the analysis of oil and gas market fundamentals, whose reports are among the references trading houses and major oil companies rely on to read the supply and demand balance. Of Indian origin and resident in Britain, she holds a doctorate in economics and worked as chief oil analyst at Barclays before founding her own firm. She established Energy Aspects in 2012 with her partners to provide analysis built on tracking inventories, refining runs and shipping movements rather than relying on lagging official data, and later widened it to gas, refined products and the transition. She appears as a commentator on Bloomberg and CNBC and her readings are carried in global financial reporting.
