A journalist and economist specialising in oil markets, she spent years covering OPEC meetings on the ground and became one of the most closely followed reporters of its decisions. She was deputy bureau chief and senior correspondent at Energy Intelligence in Dubai, and worked at Reuters before that, building a network of sources inside energy ministries across the Gulf and producer states. Her analysis of production decisions and of OPEC+ compliance with quotas is carried by global financial media, and she is a regular commentator on channels such as CNBC and Bloomberg. In her current role she covers Middle East crude and product flows using tanker tracking data.
