Amena Bakr is the Head of Energy, Middle East, and OPEC+ Research at Kpler, and an internationally award-winning journalist covering oil and energy markets. She previously served as Chief OPEC Correspondent at Energy Intelligence Group and as a Reuters correspondent in Dubai, Doha, and Riyadh. She received the Best Journalist Award from OPEC in 2023 and the Excellence in Journalism Award from the International Association for Energy Economics.
