Agata Wolska is a Project Manager at Bank of Valletta, Malta's largest bank, a doctoral candidate and a member of the Blockchain Experts Association. Her work sits in bank-side delivery: running change and technology projects through the governance, risk and regulatory review that financial institutions require, and coordinating between business, technology and compliance functions. Her research and association interest lies in distributed ledger technology and its application to payments and settlement, a field where banks have to weigh what the technology allows against what supervision, capital treatment and customer protection rules currently permit.
