Yazeed Alrashed is the Managing Director of Azm Academy, a national workforce development initiative focused on bridging the gap between education and employment by aligning talent development with the shifting needs of the Saudi labour market. At the academy he leads strategy, growth and partnerships, bringing together government entities, major employers and specialist training providers to build sustainable pathways that carry beneficiaries from learning into employment. Azm Academy follows a demand-led model that starts from sector needs: employers play an active role in defining core skills and workforce requirements, while training programmes are designed and delivered in collaboration with specialist providers to ensure participants gain the technical, practical and professional capabilities the market requires. The academy places employment outcomes at the heart of its model by creating a direct link between workforce demand, skills development and career opportunity, allowing it to respond to emerging skills gaps and support employers in building sustainable pipelines of qualified Saudi talent. Yazeed's focus is on building a scalable and sustainable model that prepares job-ready Saudi talent and strengthens the competitiveness and future readiness of the Saudi workforce in support of Vision 2030.
