Tahir Hussain

Chief Executive Officer

Tahir Hussain is chief executive of the Canadian Specialist Hospital Group in Dubai, anchored by a hospital accredited by Joint Commission International alongside centres and pharmacies, and is co-founding lead of MRBF Health Fund, a healthcare investment platform registered in Abu Dhabi Global Market. He has spent 28 years building, scaling and turning around healthcare systems across the Gulf. As group chief of operations and business excellence at SEHA, the largest provider in the United Arab Emirates, he led system integration covering 14 hospitals, more than 60 ambulatory centres and 2,500 beds serving over seven million patient visits a year, contributing to a shift in group earnings from negative to a double-digit margin within a couple of years. He previously ran the integration office that brought SEHA into PureHealth, the region's largest healthcare consolidation, and served as chief strategy and transformation officer at the Saudi Ministry of Health. His earlier career spans executive roles at Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib, NMC Healthcare, Dubai Healthcare City, Abbott, Pfizer and Sanofi.
