Awad Al-Omari

Chief Executive Officer

Awad Al-Omari became Chief Executive Officer of Almana Medical Group in 2025, leading a Saudi hospital group that employs some 7,000 people and treats more than two million patients a year across eight facilities with about 1,300 beds, and which in 2025 launched specialised subsidiaries in pharmacy, home care, radiology and laboratories. A consultant physician by training, he was previously chief medical officer of the Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Medical Group and began his career at the Security Forces Hospital in Riyadh. He holds an executive MBA from Manchester Business School and completed a senior executive programme at Harvard Business School. Alongside his executive role he chairs the board of the Saudi Critical Care Society, is professor of medicine at Alfaisal University and sits on the board of the Saudi Sports Medicine Federation.
