Khalid Alburikan

Deputy Minister of Health for Investment

Deputy Minister of Health for Investment and General Supervisor of the Private Sector Participation Programme at the Saudi Ministry of Health. He holds a PhD in Pharmacy from the University of Massachusetts (2012) and a Bachelor of Pharmacy (2007), together with American Board certification in pharmacy and training in drug development at the University of North Carolina. He served as a faculty member at the College of Pharmacy, King Saud University, before moving into the pharmaceutical industry as Director of External Relations at Sanofi Saudi Arabia and the Greater Gulf from 2019 to 2021, and Director of Corporate Affairs at Eli Lilly Saudi Arabia from 2021 to 2024. His leadership career spans more than fifteen years across healthcare policy, strategic development and public-private partnerships, leading national initiatives in healthcare investment, pharmaceutical industries and biotechnology in line with Saudi Vision 2030.
