Ahmed Aljedai
Vice Chairman and Managing Director
Prof. Ahmed bin Hamdan Aljedai is a clinical pharmacist and a leader in Saudi Arabia's health and pharmaceutical sector. He has served as Vice Chairman and Managing Director of SPIMACO (Saudi Pharmaceutical Industries and Medical Appliances Corporation) since April 2025, having chaired its board from November 2023. He previously served as Assistant Deputy Minister for Therapeutic Affairs at the Ministry of Health, as Director General of the Pharmaceutical Care Division at King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre, and as a consultant clinical pharmacist in solid organ transplantation. He holds a bachelor's degree from the College of Pharmacy at King Saud University, a PharmD from the St. Louis College of Pharmacy, and an MBA from the University of Tennessee, where he also completed a general pharmacy practice residency and a specialty residency in immunology and solid organ transplant pharmacotherapy. He is a professor in the Colleges of Medicine and Pharmacy at Alfaisal University, founding president of the Saudi Society of Clinical Pharmacy, past chairman of the Saudi scientific board of pharmacy, and editor-in-chief of the Saudi Journal of Clinical Pharmacy.
