Mustapha Louni is Chief Business Officer at Uptime Institute, where he leads global sales and marketing and is responsible for driving the organisation's growth and expansion worldwide. He plays a central role in shaping the institute's commercial strategy while supporting its mission of advancing the resilience, reliability and performance of digital infrastructure around the world. Amid the rapid changes reshaping the data centre sector, with the growth of artificial intelligence applications, the expansion of hyperscale data centres and mounting energy constraints, Mustapha focuses on helping the industry develop a more comprehensive understanding of resilience and adaptability. His work centres on enabling data centre operators and enterprises to build infrastructure capable of handling rising complexity, higher operational densities and unprecedented performance requirements while maintaining high levels of availability and readiness at global scale. He brings deep expertise in data centre infrastructure, energy management and data centre infrastructure management systems, and has spent his career supporting and developing technologies critical to mission-critical operations. Before joining Uptime Institute he held a number of leadership positions at leading global technology and specialist solutions companies, where he contributed to developing performance and design practices and standards in the data centre sector. He holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and a master's degree in fluid dynamics, and is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
