Muhammad Mudassar leads the Data and AI division at NEOM Health and Wellbeing, where he drives the strategic adoption of artificial intelligence to enable digital-first, preventive and personalised healthcare systems. With more than 20 years of experience, he has architected transformative data and AI strategies across the healthcare ecosystem, bridging advanced technology, clinical innovation and regional priorities, and his earlier career includes roles with Philips, Monstarlab and New Digital Intelligence. Throughout a global career he has collaborated with leading healthcare institutions across the Middle East, the Far East, Europe and the United States, an international footprint that has given him insight into the operational, ethical and implementation complexities of deploying AI in diverse healthcare environments. He holds a degree in electronics engineering from Mehran University, an MBA in management consulting from the University of Wales, and executive diplomas from MIT and Cornell University. A Senior Member of IEEE, he is also affiliated with ACHE, AHIMA and HIMSS and holds the CPHIMS certification, alongside credentials in artificial intelligence, cloud computing and cybersecurity. He is the author of 'AI for Health Leaders: A Strategic Guide to Responsible Transformation', a practical playbook for executives navigating data-driven healthcare.
