Abdulelah Alhaidary

Chief Nursing Officer (Acting)

Abdulelah Alhaidary is a Saudi healthcare executive with more than 25 years of experience in nursing leadership, hospital operations and clinical governance across large hospital systems. He is Acting Chief Nursing Officer of King Saud University Medical City in Riyadh, the teaching hospital complex of King Saud University, and previously led nursing services as Nursing Director of King Khalid University Hospital, one of the three hospitals of the medical city that together earned Magnet recognition from the American Nurses Credentialing Center. His work concentrates on patient safety, quality improvement and regulatory compliance, including CBAHI and international accreditation standards, alongside enterprise wide transformation of care delivery. He has driven workforce optimisation, hospital expansion and infection prevention programmes covering central line associated bloodstream infections, catheter associated urinary tract infections and hospital acquired pressure injuries, with the aim of improving clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction. He also works on digital health transformation, the use of artificial intelligence in care, crisis management, clinical governance frameworks, stakeholder engagement and cross functional leadership, and holds that a nursing workforce satisfied in its work is reflected directly in patient safety and quality of care.
