Abdulrahman Khalid Almazroua

Director of Cybersecurity

Abdulrahman Khalid Almazroua is Director of Cybersecurity at Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare (JHAH), where he leads a team of specialists in developing and implementing cybersecurity strategy and practice and works to raise the maturity and resilience of information technology, the internet of medical things and cybersecurity across the organisation. He holds a bachelor's and a master's degree in computer information systems along with two further master's degrees in cybersecurity and business management, and is pursuing a doctorate in business administration. With more than 15 years in information technology and cybersecurity, his expertise spans digital transformation, governance, risk and compliance, business continuity and enterprise risk management, alongside compliance with regulatory standards in the healthcare sector. His earlier roles across the private and government sectors include IT supervisor at Eastern Cement Company, IT director and director of information security at King Fahad Specialist Hospital, where he established the hospital's first information security office, and chief information security officer at Eastern Health Cluster, a post later reshaped as chief of cybersecurity. He serves on the National Committee on Cybersecurity and its healthcare sectoral committee, on the Aramco Group Cybersecurity Committee, and as an external advisory board member of the College of Computer Science and Information Technology at Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University, and he speaks at national, regional and international conferences on information technology, cybersecurity and digital transformation.
