Mohammed Al Hefzi

Mohammed Al Hefzi is a consultant physician in preventive medicine and in health and clinical informatics, and he leads the health and life sciences practice at Lean Business Services, the digital health enabler of the Saudi health sector. He earned a master's degree in health informatics from Swansea University Medical School in the United Kingdom in 2016, obtained the Saudi Board in community medicine in 2017, and completed the Australia and New Zealand digital health fellowship in 2019. He served as a consultant physician in preventive medicine and clinical informatics at King Faisal Medical City for the Southern Regions in Abha between 2014 and 2021, as a consultant physician in preventive medicine at King Fahd Medical City in Riyadh, and as a digital health advisor to the public health authority in Riyadh. He later held strategic digital leadership roles at Novartis and at Pfizer in Saudi Arabia and served as senior director of population health management at Tawuniya, combining commercial insight across the life sciences and payer sectors with large scale clinical transformation work, including electronic medical record implementations and the direction of public health surveillance. He is a former vice president of the Saudi Association for Health Informatics and a former managing director of the Saudi Scientific Society for Preventive Health.
