Mohsen BaAbdullah is a healthcare chief information officer and transformation strategist with a record spanning the government and private health sectors in Saudi Arabia and more than twenty-three years in digital transformation and information technology. He has led large-scale digital transformation programmes involving complex process redesign, cultural change and coordination among multinational medical and non-medical teams, and has worked extensively on advancing digital maturity across Saudi hospitals and health systems, integrating artificial intelligence into clinical workflows and aligning transformation initiatives with Vision 2030. He holds three master's degrees, in management of information technology, business administration, and healthcare services and hospital management, alongside the Certified Healthcare CIO and Certified Digital Health Executive credentials from CHIME and a Transformation in Healthcare certificate from Harvard University. He has contributed to the development of artificial intelligence maturity assessment frameworks, artificial intelligence strategies and roadmaps, data governance models and ethical artificial intelligence oversight structures aligned with HIMSS EMRAM, SDAIA and the EU AI Act, and takes part in international digital health communities on artificial intelligence readiness, governance and responsible innovation.
