Mohamed Mazen Batterjee is a business leader in the pharmaceutical industry and managing director of Batterjee Pharma, one of the region's most prominent and fastest-growing pharmaceutical companies, present in more than 15 markets and an approved contract development and manufacturing organisation for several multinational and regional firms. He took up the role in November 2014, and under his leadership the company has grown in both proprietary and contract manufacturing, strengthening its capacity in generics and licensed products and building partnerships with multinational firms. He is also co-founder of AUMET, a business-to-business health platform active in five countries that provides pharmacies with an artificial intelligence powered enterprise system integrated with a wholesale marketplace. He holds a master's degree from the University of Strathclyde in the United Kingdom and a doctorate in business administration from IE University in Spain.
