Michael Bayeh

Health Innovation Strategy

Michael Bayeh works on health innovation strategy at Blue Shield of California and its technology company Stellarus, and has served as a health innovation product strategist at the insurer. His background is in healthcare strategy, mergers and acquisitions, and performance, and he holds a master of health administration and a master of public health, the latter from Yale University. Stellarus was created when Blue Shield of California reorganised under a new nonprofit parent, Ascendiun, and it offers other health plans access to the technology platform Blue Shield spent years building, including the Experience Cube data hub developed with Microsoft. The Hawaii Medical Service Association and Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas have joined Stellarus as co-founders and early adopters of its AI-powered platform.
